After the resounding success of our inaugural event in 2024, we are excited to invite everyone to EMA Expo 2025! This time, we will gather at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The upcoming event is April 28 – May 2, 2025, and promises to be even more dynamic and enriching than before.





Introducing Special Guest Speakers:

Dr. David Pommerenke
Dr. Pommerenke is a world-renowned expert on ESD, publishing more than 200 papers and securing 13 patents. His research includes predicting arcing across small air gaps, display panels, and PCBs with a focus on the correlation between Charge Plus simulation and experimental test results.
Dr. Pommerenke will be speaking to attendees of the EMC Plus and Charge Plus Masters Workshop.
Chris Caputo
Chris Caputo is the Director of Flight Operations for BETA Technologies and oversees BETA’s internal flight training program, ALIA flight test program, and all aspects of flight safety. Chris’ extensive flying background consists of 32 years in the aerospace industry flying, leading, and instructing in both the military and civilian sectors. Chris has logged over 10,000 flight hours in various aircraft including 7 combat deployments as a member of the USAF and several years flying the Boeing 757/767 for Delta Air Lines. Chris holds a B.S. in Engineering Mechanics from the US Air Force Academy and is also a graduate and instructor pilot from the USAF Fighter Weapons School, Nellis AFB, NV.
Chris will be speaking to all Expo attendees. His presentation is titled “The Next Generation of Aviation.”


Jim DeLap
Jim DeLap is Senior Director of Product Management for Ansys
working with customers and our engineering teams to provide the highest quality
simulation workflow for Electronics, Semiconductor, Optical, and Autonomy
products. Prior to Ansys, he has been involved in electronic product designs
ranging in frequency from DC to infrared and has worked in the microwave and
signal integrity field for over 30 years. He is a member of IEEE, Eta Kappa Nu,
and Tau Beta Pi.
Jim will be speaking to all Expo attendees.

New in 2025!
New at EMA Expo 2025 is the EMC Plus and Charge Plus Masters Workshop. This is specialized training designed to provide in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with EMA’s simulation software tools EMC Plus and Charge Plus. These tools are essential for simulating and solving complex electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) challenges in various industries. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with the skills to effectively use EMC Plus and Charge Plus for improving product safety, reducing company liability, and enhancing overall design efficiency.
