E3 and Survivability: Lightning, HIRF, and EMP Workshop
Workshop Detail:
This workshop is a comprehensive overview of the threats that severe electromagnetic environments pose to electronics, systems, and platforms. The physics and a fundamental understanding of each major environment is provided, as well as the standards that govern requirements levied on platforms. The workshop will demonstrate how and when to use test and simulation within a program with demonstrations.
Who Should Attend?
The workshop is ideally suited to E3 engineers in the aerospace and defense industry. This course will be particularly valuable to those working on military platforms or Department of Defense programs. Both early career and experienced engineers will have the chance to discuss these topics with industry experts with experience across dozens of different programs. Attendees will obtain a thorough understanding of what risks each environment actually poses, the key challenges from both a technical and programmatic standpoint that exist, and how the industry handles them in today’s world.
